Entelo continues to leverage data science in helping our customers discover the best candidates. We are excited to announce our new Skill Proficiency feature that makes sourcing on Entelo easier and more data-driven!
Skill Proficiency helps answer the age-old question of “how good is a candidate at Python anyway”? Using data from external sources like Github and our internal analytics, we can identify experts in their field. When you perform a search that includes specific skills on Entelo, we will now show candidates who are proficient in these skills higher in the results page.
Skill Proficiency takes into account more than 30 factors to generate a scoring on each of the candidate’s skills. For example, we analyze Github activity to determine if a candidate has proficient in Python. We also look at the recency of the activity to make sure that the candidate is actively using these skills. The top 10% of candidates with a particular skill will now receive a new Highlight in their profile that indicate their expertise.
