May 2018: GDPR Announcement

With the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) policy going into effect today, we want to be sure that you're aware of the changes we've made to our Privacy Notice, as part of our commitment to lawful, fair and transparent processing of personal data and to give you a better understanding of how we handle data.

GDPR’s fundamental value and message to all of us is that natural persons should have control of their personal data. We at Entelo could not agree more. We treat the personal data we control and process with the utmost care, and that commitment only gets stronger with our GDPR compliance. While the GDPR only affects residents of the EU, we believe that data transparency, confidentiality and security is important for everyone.

Here’s a quick summary of our Privacy Notice updates.

  • We clarified that Entelo shares customer data with subprocessors only for the purpose of providing the Entelo recruiting service to that customer.
  • We clarified that each of these subprocessors is a member of the Privacy Shield framework.
  • We clarified that each of these subprocessors processes the customer data in the United States only, with the exception of SendGrid.
  • We provided a new disclosure that our subprocessor SendGrid may process some customer data outside the United States. SendGrid provides email optimization services for some Entelo customers. You can review the Send Grid privacy policy here and the SendGrid Privacy Shield certification here.

If you continue to use the Entelo Service after May 25, 2018 you agree to this Privacy Notice.

Customers who have concerns about the Privacy Notice updates should reply to this email so Entelo can address these concerns. We are here to help.
