How to Advance and Reject Candidates within Stack

One-click advance and reject for Candidates within Stacks

With one-click advance and reject, you can easily give the thumbs-up or thumbs-down to inbound applicants which will trigger activities like stage advancement or rejection emails through your ATS.

To get started, you’ll need to set up your workflow settings. Click the “edit” button in the “Workflow Settings” box on the right hand side of any jobs page.

For advancement, you can configure which stage in your ATS you would like us to advance the candidate to. When rejecting a candidate, you will need to specify who is performing the rejection. This can be yourself or a teammate available through the dropdown menu.  The person you select will be the one rejecting the candidate in your ATS. You also have the option to select the reason for rejection, which will appear in your ATS.

If you would like the candidate to receive an email after they have been rejected (thumbs-down), you can select a message from your ATS within the dropdown menu. To prevent candidates from thinking they are receiving an automated response, we have built in a rejection queue that by default will send your rejection message to the candidate after two business days. Within that two-day period, you have the option to review candidates in the queue and undo any pending rejections.
